About My Garden

As one of the early leaders in the water conservation movement, sustainable landscaping, and horticulture education in Southern California, my design background includes horticulture and landscape instruction. I founded the Landscape Technology Certificate Program in 1980 at Cal Poly University, Pomona. My teaching and lecturing experience also includes courses at Fullerton College, Mt. San Antonio College, the Los Angeles Arboretum, and Fullerton Arboretums. Since teaching my first ornamental horticulture class in 1978, I have proudly served the green industry as a board member for the Southern California Xeriscape Committee, the California Park and Recreation Society, and the National Association for Self-Esteem, as well as hosting and speaking at landscape shows and garden seminars. Wayne has also conducted leadership seminars, including radio and television appearances for sustainable landscapes and the water conservation movement.

My design discipline for the past three decades has focused on residential landscapes, everything from small space gardens to custom estates.

I look forward to meeting you and enhancing your retreat, your garden.
